Starting out as a standard Python pygame project everyone who has worked on the Python Crash Course book by No Starch Press, the idea popped into my head that it would work great as a casual online game. A quick google search for 'is there a way to embed a python pygame on a website' resulted in my discovery of a common tool called pygbag. With most of the book example's mechanics and my additions compatible, google AI helped me work out the bugs from incompatible code, such as the simple sys.exit() of all things.

With the web adaptation of Alien Invasion working, I have been inspired to continue working on it with an upcoming high score leaderboard, other stats, and maybe even a power-up or two.
